
HDFA Fencers Attending 2019 National Championships in Columbus Ohio

Eight HDFA fencers will be attending National Championships in Columbus Ohio this July. The competition, taking place from June 28th to July 7th, draws thousands of fencers from around the country to compete for the National title in various events. Representing Reno and HDFA at this prestigious event is:
Caroline Rich: Vet 60 Women's Epee and Vet Team
Lucas Johnson: Division 1A Men's Epee
Sophia Lewis: Y14 Women's Epee, Division 3 Women's Epee, Division 2 Women's Epee
Max Covington: Division 3 Men's Saber, Division 2 Men's Saber
Jayna Davis: Y14 Women's Saber, Division 3 Women's Saber, Division 2 Women's Saber
Nikki Clifton: Division 2 Women's Saber
Madelynn Evans: Y14 Women's Saber, Y12 Women's Saber
Sitara Reganti: Y12 Women's Saber
Caroline Rich will be fencing to make her second World Team in two years (she placed 10th at ​World Championships last October). Additionally, this will be Madelynn's and Sitara's first ever National events. Good luck to Caroline, Maddy and Sitara, and all of our competitors at Summer Nationals!
